Week 0
Week 0: the site does not exist yet
Starting point: an empty domain, no pages indexed, no impressions, no clicks, no backlinks. Every number below is zero, which is the honest baseline and the only one worth measuring from.
What was built today
The site skeleton and a first set of five sourced articles — one in each hub: Protein, Meal Prep, Nutrition Basics, Supplements, and Research & Regulation. A static site with canonical URLs, a generated sitemap, structured data that matches what is actually on the page, and a content system that refuses to publish an article without at least one linked source.
That last part is the interesting constraint. Sourcing is enforced in the build rather than left to discipline — a page with an empty source list will not compile.
The peptide regulation explainer sits in Research & Regulation and is deliberately kept off the homepage hero: the site is about protein, meal prep and everyday nutrition first.

Decisions worth recording
No Google Business Profile. This is an online-only site. Google requires a business to either have a location customers visit or to travel to customers, so no profile is eligible. Any local SEO tactics are therefore out of scope here, and claiming otherwise later would be dishonest.
Peptide content is regulatory and neutral only. No effects claims, no dosing, no sourcing, no testimonials. The reasoning is set out in the first published article and in the editorial standards.
No link building yet. There is nothing worth linking to. Outreach before that point is asking for a favour, not earning a mention.

Verify the domain in Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, connect analytics, and submit the sitemap — so that week one has real numbers instead of estimates.
